For one of our clients, we are currently looking for a motivated candidate for the position of robot welder / welding operator. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and adjusting a welding robot, as well as manually welding parts the robot cannot reach.
What will you do?
- Set up and operate welding robots (MIG/MAG)
- Place products into the machine
- Inspect welds and manually weld areas the robot cannot reach
- Monitor the welding process and make manual adjustments when necessary
- Perform basic programming tasks (training will be provided)
- Conduct quality checks on welded products
- Carry out daily maintenance and cleaning of the workstation and equipment
What do we expect from you?
- Experience with MIG/MAG welding is required
- Experience with robot welding is a strong plus, but not mandatory
- You are technically inclined and a quick learner
- You can speak and understand sufficient English or Dutch
- You work with precision and pay attention to detail
- Willingness to work in day or two-shift systems
- A driving license (category B) is a plus due to travel to work
